Job summary

The successful candidate will have an Associate Degree in Accounting and at least five years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, with strong familiarity with AEIL procedures, Oracle, and asset accounting. On-site position in Marion, IL with occasional after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• An Associate Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Five years accounting or bookkeeping experience desired.
• Familiarity with AEIL accounting procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable: enter invoices, ensure timely payments, resolve vendor disputes.
• Review EDI and E-Payment portals; resolve issues for smooth processing.
• Prepare E-Payment requests for Finance Manager review.
• Handle Accounts Receivable: issue sales invoices, prepare intercompany summaries.
• Oversee Purchase Order process: record POs, match with packing slips, obtain approvals.
• Maintain office supplies ledger and ledger postings for department costs.
• Record fixed asset purchases in FAS; support asset balance reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain ledgers.
• Assist with accounting problem resolution and process improvements.
• Support external auditors with required information and documentation.
• Manage departmental admin tasks and inventory observations.
• Assist in budget setting and meeting department financial targets.
