Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in accounting/business or related field.
• 2+ years in an accounting office or similar role.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Great Plains preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability and interest in problem-solving, self-starter.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Refreshment Specialist to join our dynamic accounting office team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the accounting office by overseeing vending-related financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial audits and performance evaluation of vending machine operations, including revenue, cash flow, profitability, and cost analysis.
• Act as a liaison between the finance department and internal stakeholders, including executives and department heads, to gather financial data and provide baseline insights for decision-making.
• Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to align financial goals with business objectives and strategies.
• Input financial information into databases, spreadsheets, and accounting software with precision and attention to detail.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline data entry workflows and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
