Job summary

Torrecid USA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our growing team in Tennessee. You will work closely with leadership and external partners, handling day-to-day accounting, AP/AR, journal entries, and month-end close.

You will prepare financial statements, KPI analyses, and reports, supporting audits and tax activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tax-related processes is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustments and general ledger reviews.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct monthly KPI analysis and evaluate gross and net margins.
• Monitor and record employee expenses, including corporate credit cards and reimbursements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Act as the main point of contact for external tax advisors.
• Develop reports, analyses, and action plans for Management.
• Assist with occasional administrative and operational tasks.
