This position will be support for all aspects of our office. The Accounting Specialist will perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in supporting all departments including answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, reconciling and record keeping.

This position requires a high school diploma. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must possess computer technology and 10-key calculator operation skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and weights.
The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems with several concrete variables in standard situations. Must be able to think quickly and perform a mental assessment of workplace hazards, take appropriate precautions, and choose appropriate personal protective equipment as dictated by need, regulation and labeling.
