Job Summary/Basic Functions

A University Accounting Specialist is responsible for timely andaccurate analysis, reconciliation updating, and reporting ofuniversity information. This information is provided to bothinternal and external entities. The incumbent also providestechnical direction, consultation and customer service to a varietyof constituents. Incumbent will work in the AccountingOffice.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - A Bachelor's degree is required. Adegree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

Experience: - No related work experience isrequired. Prefer someone who has either worked in some capacitywith a financial office (i.e. student worker or who has financialeducation).

Job Duties:

• 80% - Maintains Accounting Records/Reports for the University.- (Essential)
• 15% - Supports the office functions by completing all otherduties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
• 5% - Other Duties as assigned. - (Essential)
