Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is looking for a Collections Specialist to work 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ.

The role focuses on collecting receivables, including returned payments, fuel tax, audit assessments, and other miscellaneous items. You will use skip tracing and other tools to locate delinquent customers while applying state statutes and client policies, communicating by phone, email, and mail with internal and external customers.

• Collections experience is required.
• Accounting experience is preferred.

Position is 100% onsite.

This position will assist in the collection of receivables, including returned payments, fuel tax and audit assessments, civil penalties, and miscellaneous receivables. Will utilize skip tracing and other tools to locate delinquent customers and apply State statutes, rules, and clientpolicies. We communicate by phone calls, emails and letter with external and internal customers. This position is centered in a fast pace multi-tasking environment. Process credit card and check transactions, daily internal deposits, bank levies, bond claims, and agency companion transfers, referring debt to theclientOffice, Removal of uncollected debt, and testing for internal system enhancements. Validate, record and report all revenue and perform banking and general ledger accounting functions, including account analysis and reconciliations. This position will write and maintain desk procedures and complete other duties as assigned.
