The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks and NetSuite. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, with GAAP knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with payroll software and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Foundational understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support preparation of financial reports and audit documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll compliance activities.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
