Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our North Orlando, FL team onsite. This role focuses on construction accounting, project billing, lien documentation, and day-to-day financial activities supporting ongoing projects.

You will engage in accounts payable/receivable, NTO filing, lien/wavier tracking, AIA billings, job costing, and credit card reconciliations. A team-oriented culture and long-term stability are highlighted in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction accounting or construction bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of Florida Construction Lien Law, NTOs, AIA billings and lien waivers.
• Proficiency with Sage or similar accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare and file Notices to Owner (NTOs), track lien waivers, and support compliance with Florida Construction Lien Law.
• Process AIA billings, job cost reporting, and project-related accounting activities.
• Reconcile corporate credit card statements, project accounts, and financial records.
• Provide administrative support, including travel coordination, office supply management, and general accounting assistance.
