Job summary

Andersen Tax Llc is offering a Private Accounting Services (PAS) Intern position in Illinois. Interns join client service teams, are staffed on engagements similar to Associates, and receive formal and on-the-job training to sharpen technical accounting skills.

Responsibilities include coordinating administrative tasks, preparing reconciliations and financial statements, and performing basic accounting research with written conclusions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM.
• Eligible students should be in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in their 4th year of a 5-year degree program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
• Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong interpersonal skills; and
• Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.
