Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Accounting Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on exposure to corporate finance, accounting policy, and government compliance. You will work on GAAP-based financial reporting, research standards, and contribute to policy development while supporting internal controls and risk management.

This internship helps you strengthen technical accounting, analytical, and communication skills as you learn how accounting and compliance drive the organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Information Systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of complex accounting matters and research accounting standards.
• Assist with development of accounting policies and financial reporting.
• Support audits and advisory engagements to address risks.
• Analyze business processes and perform data analytics.
• Develop recommendations to improve operations and controls.
