Purvis, Gray & Company, LLP ~ Certified Public Accountants is seeking a detail-oriented accounting support professional to help process transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and compliant operations.

The role involves assisting with month-end close, preparing routine reports, and supporting payroll and related administration, while handling confidential information with care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related administrative role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Responsabilidades

• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts.
• Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and proper coding.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare routine financial reports and summaries for internal review.
• Support payroll, expense processing, and related administrative tasks as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, coworkers, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
