Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to support accounting at Arrowhead Stadium. You will forecast, budget, manage labor and inventory controls, and analyze financials while supervising accounts and cash flow for the units you support.

Responsibilities include planning, journal entries, reconciliations, and coordinating with leadership to improve margins, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance. Position requires strong Excel skills and event-schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Excel is required.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus; system-driven credit control experience is valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Must be self-motivated and available to support events including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Aramark is currently seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to support accounting operations at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs. As the Accounting Operations Manager you will support the objectives of the accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Financial planning and analysis: create annual forecast/budget by location, create weekly/monthly/annual financial reports
• Coordination of general accounting functions
  • Journal entry posting
  • Control of subsidiary ledgers
  • Balancing of all accounts on a monthly basis
• Sales / Bank account reconciliation
  • Post & allocate receipts accurately and in a timely manner
• Highly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve margins
• Maintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes
• Highly collaborative with leadership and communicate key levers to improve margins
• Train and develop operations teams on financial acumen and policies with oversite of weekly/monthly financial data
• Accountable for Cash Flow, Cash/Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Capital Expenditures and Repair & Maintenance funds.
• Accurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company’s credit control policies and procedures are adhered to
• Processing of weekly accounts payable and work with suppliers to reconcile accounts
• Any ad hoc duties that may arise
• Due to the nature of the business additional duties may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge and key attributes:

• 3 years’ experience in service industry combined with a system driven approach to credit control
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance
• Must have very strong knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Oracle System is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be self‑motivated
• Must have flexible availability to support the event schedule including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays
