Job summary

Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead day-to-day accounting operations across corporate entities, development projects, and private equity vehicles. You will supervise month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate with auditors.

The role requires a hands-on leader with strong Excel and ERP skills, experience with real estate development accounting, and the ability to mentor a growing accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred.
• Experience with GAAP, general ledger, and month-end close is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for corporate entities, development projects, and investment vehicles.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, GL review, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures across multiple entities.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, partnership accounting, and investor reporting.
• Lead accounting operations for real estate development projects and private equity vehicles.
