Job summary

Green Key Resources is expanding with a rapidly growing alternative investment manager. The Fund Accountant / Investment Operations Associate will support accounting, operations, reporting, and compliance across the fund's back-office functions.

The role reports to the finance leader, offering hands-on exposure to cash reconciliations, NAV prep, tax workpapers, and collaboration with external administrators and auditors. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Approximately 1-2+ years of relevant experience.
• Background from public accounting, fund accounting, financial services, or investment operations preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to take ownership and wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash activity across multiple accounts.
• Assist with trade settlement processes and investment operations activities.
• Support monthly and quarterly NAV preparation and fund accounting activities.
• Prepare compliance and regulatory reporting schedules.
• Assist with SEC filings, including 13D reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and service providers.
• Support preparation of tax workpapers and fund-related tax reporting.
• Assist with management reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Participate in special projects as the firm continues to scale.

Position Overview
