Job Description

Based in Chicago, they are now looking to add an Accounting Manager to join their busy and growing accounting & finance function. This person will work closely with the Controller and CFO, as well as having supervisory duties over a junior team.

The successful candidate will play a significant role in the development of internal processes, including the set-up of a robust cost & inventory accounting process. In addition, this person will be involved in the month-end, year-end close, preparation of financial statements, financial analysis and various ad-hoc reporting for the CFO & CEO.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position, candidates are required to have either:

1) 3+ years of experience within public accounting, working closely with manufacturing clients.

OR

2) A strong record within cost & inventory accounting within a busy and fast paced manufacturing firm.



Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance is required, CPA qualification is advantageous but is not essential.
