Job summary

LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for a fast-paced, growth-oriented service organization in North Dallas. The role blends hands-on accounting leadership with team development, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvements to drive accurate financial reporting.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office) with a compensation range of 130K–135K plus bonus. Ideal candidates will have strong ERP experience, GAAP expertise, and CPA-eligible credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday or similar platforms).
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred; experience in high-volume environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Lead the monthly and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Manage revenue recognition, accruals, and expense allocations in a high-volume environment.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while remaining actively involved in day-to-day activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Support audit activities, including preparation and response to external audit requests.
• Assist with ERP system management, enhancements, and implementations.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
