Job summary

LHH in Lebanon, TN is seeking an Accounting Manager to serve as the financial lead for a growing trucking operation. You will own the division's P&L, manage ticketing, reconciliation, and billing, and act as a bridge between accounting and day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has senior accounting experience, strong month-end close skills, and the ability to partner with operational leadership to drive efficiency and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level or above.
• Strong reconciliation, month-end close, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with operational teams and financial data.
• Ability to investigate issues independently and develop solutions.
• Strong communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers.
• Advanced Excel and systems aptitude.
• Experience in construction, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or other operationally focused environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the division's P&L and financial performance.
• Lead ticketing, reconciliation, and billing-related processes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between operational and accounting data; support month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Partner closely with operational leadership to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• Review revenue activity and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with customer and subcontractor onboarding activities.
• Analyze business activity, identify root causes of issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner to the operation.
