Job summary

Rivertown Dental is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting for a growing multi-location practice. You will own the monthly close, general ledger, reconciliations, payroll accounting, accounts payable oversight, fixed assets, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close and financial statement prep.
• 2+ years in an Accounting Manager or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete month-end and year-end close processes.
• Own the general ledger, classifications, reconciliations, and monthly closings.
• Oversee payroll accounting, accounts payable, and fixed asset schedules.
• Maintain internal controls, documentation, and policies; ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinate with external tax, audit, and advisory partners.
