Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or related field.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP rules.
• Minimum of 4 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Excel skills and ERP system proficiency.
• Experience implementing software tools to improve efficiencies.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting function, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement management.
• Manage Accounts Payable and supervise AP staff.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings and cash flow reporting.
• Coordinate payroll journal entries and HR collaboration for payroll taxes and deductions.
• Assist in annual audits and period tax filing requirements.
• Identify improvements for internal controls and procedures.
• Support future transition of tasks to Staff Accountant and related roles.
