Job description

This is a 100% remote position; however, candidates are expected to report to our Rosemont, IL HQ during onboarding (3 months) and will require 25% domestic travel.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliation of GL accounts, and variance explanations.
  2. Support inventory management/control processes for several distribution centers.
  3. Support capital spending and approval processes.
  4. Support pricing, rebate, and recovery request processes.
  5. Assist in development of annual business plans and quarterly forecasts.
  6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual external customer financial and operational reports.
  7. Support DC leadership with performance reporting for local Supply Chain Advisory Councils.
  8. Collect, analyze, and interpret data to quantify financial opportunities and risks, and communicate optimal business decisions/actions.
  9. Enhance or develop new financial models to improve existing plans or decision analysis.
  10. Develop financial analysis tools to aid management decisions.
  11. Support the external annual audit process.
  12. Assist with periodic customer audits.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience and 3+ years of management experience, or a High School Diploma with 9+ years of specific experience and 4+ years of management experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or CPA certification.
