Job summary

Kane Brewing Company, a fast-growing craft brewery in New Jersey, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations from our Ocean Township location. This on-site role reports to the Controller and leads the AR Clerk while driving improvements across the finance function.

The position requires a strong background in month-end close, GL accounting, and tax/regulatory reporting, plus hands-on ERP experience. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful ownership of month-end close.
• Strong general-ledger accounting and reconciliation skills.
• Experience managing or reviewing AP and AR processes.
• CPA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and general accounting processes.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor invoices, and payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and cash application.
• Maintain inventory accounting, COGS, and intercompany activity.
• Support tax and regulatory reporting.
• Improve controls, processes, and ERP usage.
