Qualifications

  • Active CPA license.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Experience serving real estate, affordable housing, or LIHTC clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead affordable housing and LIHTC audit and tax engagements from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate engagement staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Review financial statements, tax filings, and client deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor engagement profitability and workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain year-round relationships with developers, ownership groups, syndicators, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
  • Provide guidance regarding affordable housing regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during client onboarding and engagement execution.
  • Deliver proactive and responsive client service.
