Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, has an opening for an Accounting Manager at its corporate headquarters. You will lead a high-performing Corporate Accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements across North American operations.

You will engage hands-on in month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and support of ERP enhancements while partnering with leadership on strategic business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation with 5+ years of Accounting experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience leading teams in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, automation or system enhancements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle G/L or similar ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Uline’s Corporate Accounting team, strengthening internal controls, improving processes and supporting ERP system enhancements.
• Coach and develop Accounting Supervisors and their teams, building a culture of accountability, growth and high performance.
• Oversee key Accounting areas such as financial and cost accounting, leases, fixed assets, cash and other operational accounting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and financial statement preparation, analyzing results and variances to deliver accurate, timely reporting.
• Partner with leadership to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives aligned with company goals.
