Job summary

Uline is seeking an Accountant at its Corporate Headquarters campus in Wisconsin. The role focuses on preparing financial documents and ensuring accurate reporting to support growth as a leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred) and have Excel or SQL proficiency. Training is available for those newer to the field, with on-site benefits including comprehensive health coverage and a 401(k) plan with

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and record inventory transactions.
• Review financial records for adherence to accounting standards and guidelines.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support year-end audit by preparing schedules and answering auditors' questions.
• Partner with business teams to analyze product costs and ensure correct inventory pricing.

Position Responsibilities

• Help prepare financial statements and evaluate information for recording inventory transactions.
• Review financial records and reports, ensuring they align with standard accounting practices and business guidelines.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support the year-end financial audit by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Partner with business teams to analyze product costs and ensure inventory pricing is accurate across the company.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting. CPA preferred.
• Prior accounting experience is a plus, but if you’re eager to learn, we will train you!
• Proficiency in Excel or SQL is preferred.
