Job summary

A professional services firm is seeking a Manager of Accounting to oversee daily operations and provide financial guidance to clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a client-facing advisory role. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial statements, and developing budgets. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule with competitive compensation and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years' Accounting experience, including Month End Close activities.
• Experience working for an accounting firm or in a similar client facing advisory role.
• Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and/or construction/contracting industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations for clients, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems.
• Collaborate with business owners to provide financial insights.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Lead month-end closing processes and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, analyzing variances.
• Manage bank reporting and compliance with credit agreements.
• Facilitate financial audits and recommend process improvements.
• Visit client offices to provide on-site financial support.
