Job summary

HVMG is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations at our Winston-Salem hotel. You will oversee the accounting staff, prepare financial reports, and ensure strong internal controls to support the property’s financial health.

This role offers growth into senior finance positions within the hospitality industry and reports to the Director of Finance - Controller. A detail-oriented leader with hospitality experience will thrive in our culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
• A combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting staff and day-to-day hotel finance operations.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy.
• Implement and monitor internal controls.
• Report to the Director of Finance - Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll play a crucial role in our hotel's financial success, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations.
• Your daily tasks will include overseeing the accounting staff, preparing financial reports, and implementing internal controls.
• You will report to the Director of Finance - Controller.
• A career as an accounting manager can lead to higher level positions within the hospitality industry, such as finance director, VP of finance, or even CFO.

Education & Experience

• A college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or at least 2 years of hotel experience
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred
• A combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered
