About the Finance Team: The Finance team supports LEDC’s mission by ensuring strong financial stewardship, accountability, and compliance across the organization. The team manages financial reporting, budgeting, grant and loan accounting, audits, and internal controls to support informed decision-making and responsible use of resources.
Working collaboratively across departments, the Finance team plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting the programs and services that advance economic opportunity in the communities LEDC serves.
Position Summary: The Accounting Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing LEDC’s day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role directly supervises the members of the Finance team and plays a pivotal part in maintaining the financial integrity and transparency of the organization.
Given the size of the Finance team, this role is also expected to stay flexible and support grants management tasks, currently led by the Senior Accountant and Senior Financial Portfolio Manager, as organizational needs require, particularly during high-volume periods or staff absences.
Specific duties may vary based on program needs, funding requirements, and operational priorities. As the role evolves, additional responsibilities may be assigned.
