Our growing SaaS client is looking for an Accounting Manager. This role is 100% remote and manages a small team. Excellent opportunity for a self-starter to streamline and create efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for monthly and annual financial close process working closely with the Controller
- Oversight of the day-to-day accounting
- Review and analyze monthly actuals v. budget providing commentary on the numbers
- Support the development of the weekly cash flow forecasting process
- Liaise with external tax partners to provide support needed to complete necessary filings
- Prepare for and support external audit process
- Continuously review and drive automation and streamlining of internal processes (currently on Intacct)
- Support the continued development of Accounts Payable and Order to Cash processes
- Develop and lead the accounting team as it grows
Professional Experience:
- 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a management role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Subject matter expert in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with experience analyzing high volume, multi-currency transactions in a global business environment
- Experience in Intacct preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of staff and management to solve problems and achieve results
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvements
- Experience using Excel, Paychex, and Google Suite
- Works across the business with business partners according to drive performance and desired outcomes.
- Detailed, thorough, process-control approach to financial reporting.
- Proactive style and is action oriented.
Educational Background:
Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and 6-8 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation:
Up to $130k + 15% discretionary bonus. 100% paid employee premiums, 401(k) with match, PTO 21 days, Sick 7 days, Holidays 11 days.
