Job summary

FESCO/Bromley in Tennessee seeks an Accounting Manager to lead month-end close, reconcile balance sheets, and advise operations on financial performance for our kitchen equipment service business.

You will work with management on accounts payable/receivable, prepare journal entries and adjustments, and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Expert experience with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

As our Accounting Manager, you will be working hand in hand with the brand leader and management team. A typical day may include balance sheet reconciliations, calculating and analyzing accruals, and performing month end close and reporting processes. If you pay close attention to detail, love balancing multiple projects and have a strong passion for Operations and Accounting-

Financial Reporting & Close

• Coordinate and support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain all balance sheet accounts ensuring the proper documentation, classification, and reconciliation of financial transactions
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance with payment terms and collection targets.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Operational Partnership

• Partner with operations teams to analyze business performance and cost drivers
• Monitor and report on KPIs, margins, and operational metrics
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide financial insights to improve efficiency and profitability

Analysis & Process Improvement

• Manage daily billing and invoicing activities, which will compromise approximately 40-50% of the role, in addition to general accounts receivable/payable duties.
• Perform variance analysis and explain fluctuations to leadership
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and operational processes
• Assist with system implementations and process automation initiatives
• Maintain and enhance internal controls

Compliance & Audit Support

• Support internal and external audit requests
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
• Assist with documentation of accounting procedures and controls

Basic Qualifications

• Expert experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and Microsoft Windows based software environments.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen required.

Standout Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive accounting experienceORBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range:$55,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience.
• Schedule: While FESCO/Bromley operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we generally schedule our Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialists in 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 4:00pm.
