Woodard Cleaning and Restoration, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to take hands-on leadership of the accounting team, drive day-to-day activities, and solve complex accounting issues.
You will review work, coach staff, and partner with operations to keep the close moving smoothly. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, at least 2 years of people management, and hands-on experience across A/P, A/R, and general ledger processes.
Strong accounting knowledge matters. How you lead matters just as much.
We're looking for an Accounting Manager who can step into the day-to-day work of an Accounting team, understand what's happening in the numbers, and keep things moving. Someone who knows when to dig in, when to coach, when to ask questions, and when something just doesn't look right.
This is a hands‑on leadership role. Our Accounting Manager won't manage from the sidelines. You'll review the work, help solve accounting issues, support the close, develop the team, and partner with leaders across the business.
Just as important is how you do it. We want someone who is professional and respectful, stays calm when things get challenging, works collaboratively with Operations, and is comfortable saying, "I don't know, but I'll figure it out."
You're an experienced accountant who understands the technical side of the work and knows how to lead people through it.
You'll probably be a great fit if you:
Experience with job costing/WIP, project accounting, multiple locations, or accounting system transitions/integrations is a plus, but not required.
We're not looking for someone who checks every possible accounting box. We're looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation, real leadership experience, and the right approach to helping a team and an accounting function get better.
