Hoxton Circle in West Los Angeles seeks an Accounting Manager to own daily accounting operations and lead a small team. You’ll report directly to the CFO and have daily contact with the CEO, contributing to strategy, budgeting, and lender reporting.

You’ll drive the month‑end close, audits, and internal controls, while shaping the future finance function and supporting growth toward a Controller role.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in accounting with leadership experience.
• 2+ years in financial services and 2 years leading teams.
• Private company experience with GL, operations accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel; QuickBooks helpful; SQL/Access a plus.
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business; CPA or on track.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of three: one on-site Staff Accountant plus two offshore team members.
• Run daily accounting operations and own the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements with the CFO.
• Manage periodic financial and bank audits and support the CFO on lender reporting.
• Oversee the month-end close, including journal entries from the lending platform into QuickBooks.
• Oversee the 1099 process.
• Drive process improvements across accounting and the wider business.
• Support financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (MBA a plus)
• CPA, or well on your way
• A positive attitude and a willingness to be in the office five days a week
