Position Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Remote
Type: Full Time
This is a rare opportunity to help build Ohalo's accounting and finance infrastructure and business processes from the ground up, and to be at the forefront of building a best-in-class finance organization. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting operations, develop the Staff Accountant, and own the more technical areas of the close — including stock-based compensation, ASC 842 lease accounting, allocations, and inventory accounting. We're looking for someone who diagnoses the root cause upstream rather than treating symptoms and applying band-aids on the back end.
This role is available to individuals working in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones. Compensation will depend on the working location of the individual hired. However, the anticipated base pay range for this role, which reflects multiple levels, is $100,000 - $170,000 per year for our South San Francisco location. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the level at which they are hired, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
