Job summary

Renewal by Andersen of Florida is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations, reporting, and internal controls. You will lead the accounting team and partner with the VP of Finance on budgeting, audits, and financial planning.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics and GAAP principles. E-Verify participation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience with ERP systems, databases, and financial reporting tools (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with GAAP based accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of AR/AP and accounting processes.
• Ability to analyze and communicate financial information to management.
• Ability to advise on budgeting, P&L, and financial decisions.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
• Company participates in E-Verify.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full Time)

The Accounting Manager oversees the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and account reconciliations. This role manages the accounting team and partners with the Vice President of Finance on budgeting, auditing, and financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial results and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Oversee daily accounting activities and month-end close.
• Administer company credit card programs.
• Evaluate and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate external audits and support regulatory reporting.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Support strategic financial initiatives led by the VP of Finance.

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting
• At least 5yrs of Progressive Accounting Experience, as well as Leadership Experience
• Experience with ERP Systems, Databases, & Financial Reporting Tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with GAAP Based Accounting Principles, Economic/Accounting Principles and Practices, Financial Markets, Banking, & the Analysis/Reporting of Financial Data
• Strong understanding of all functions of the typical accounting department, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and communicate effectively with upper management.
• Ability to explain and advise management on best financial practices, budgeting, profit and loss, and assist in making financial decisions for the company.
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
