Microwave Products Group (MPG) Dover is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting functions, lead the accounting team, and ensure GAAP compliance.

This onsite role covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger activities in Ventura, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior accounting/finance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work directly with Accounts Payable specialist to ensure responsibilities are met timely and accurately.
• Supervise month end closing process.
• Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting and related analysis.
• Monitor collection of sales/use tax and associated filings.
• Approve weekly pay runs and cash control reconciliations.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, processes, and government contracting requirements.
