Job summary

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team at our Mechanicsburg dealership. The role oversees accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, deal costing and title work, and performs monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliations.

A Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business and 5+ years of accounting experience are required; automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting office experience (payables/receivables/general ledger).
• Automotive industry accounting is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise and coordinate administrative operations within a dealership (AP/AR, inventory control, deal costing, title work).
• Manage company financial transactions through the team and perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze financial data and provide updates to management as needed.

The Accounting Manager/ Office Manager is responsible for organizing, supervising and coordinating administrative operations within a dealership which includes accounts payable and accounts receivable, inventory control, deal costing and title work. The Accounting Manager manages the company’s financial transactions through the team and performs month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reconciliations. The Accounting Manager also monitors and analyzes financial accounting data and provides updates to management as needed.

Accounting Manager Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting office in payables, receivables or general ledger accounting. Automotive industry accounting highly preferred
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Work well in a team environment.
