Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification required.
• Public Accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervising and managing other members of finance and accounting professionals.
• Expert user of Microsoft Excel.
• Competency with general ledger accounting and financial reporting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Directing and managing finance and accounting functions and training of accounting staff.
• Coordinating inter-departmental functions to ensure accurate, effective and timely processing of transactions.
• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers and financial reporting systems.
• Ensuring financial transactions are in accordance with GAAP, regulatory guidelines, and program requirements.
• Ensuring all journal entries are posted and account reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performing analysis and review of financial results.
• Updating and developing applicable policies and procedures.
• Providing support and back-up to the CFO.
• Continue to improve analytics and controls.
