Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to support financial operations, cost accounting, and ERP implementation at our manufacturing facility.

This role standardizes financial processes, ensures accurate reporting, and maintains strong internal controls in line with accounting standards. You will also help implement SAP Business One, focusing on data integrity, product costing, and system accuracy to support efficient reporting and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA designation (active, inactive, or in-progress).
• Exposure to cost accounting, inventory processes, and ERP implementation.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and general accounting principles.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and sub‑ledger interfaces and manage intercompany transactions.
• Perform reconciliations and support balance sheet account analysis.
• Manage and reconcile the construction in progress and capitalization of all fixed assets.
• Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and monthly and quarterly Blackline reporting.
• Support the SAP Business One ERP implementation and ensure modules are configured correctly.
• Validate data with IT, operations, and finance teams for a smooth ERP transition.
• Ensure accurate data entry for cost of goods, inventory, and product costing to support system performance.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, accurate, and curious Accounting Manager to support financial operations, cost accounting, and ERP implementation at our manufacturing facility. This role is key to standardizing financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls in line with accounting standards. You'll also help implement SAP Business One, focusing on data integrity, product costing, and system accuracy to support efficient reporting and inventory control. Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and sub‑ledger interfaces and manage intercompany transactions.
• Perform reconciliations and support balance sheet account analysis.

Costing, Systems & ERP Implementation

• Support the implementation of SAP Business One, ensuring financial modules are configured correctly.
• Work closely with IT, operations, and finance teams to validate data and drive a smooth ERP transition.
• Ensure accurate data entry related to cost of goods, inventory, and product costing to support effective system performance.
• Help develop standardized costing methods and reporting tools aligned with manufacturing operations.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting standards, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Help document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to finance and accounting.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA designation (active, inactive, or in‑progress).
• Exposure to cost accounting, inventory processes, and ERP implementation.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
