  • Month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, approvals by internal and external teams.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and approvals in Blackline.
  • Quarterly analysis and reports.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
  • Supervise staff accountant.
  • Special projects.

Job Description
Who will you be working with?

Our accounting manager is responsible for helping to oversee day to day financial operations, analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate account balances, and supporting internal and external teams. This role will have a variety of duties and opportunities along with special projects that support the department and the business.

  • This role can be permitted to work with a Hybrid Schedule. Expectations are to work remotely 2 days per week. Onsite days are expected 3 days per week.
How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Wabtec Passenger Transit, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and Oversee Accounts Receivable with internal and external teams and customers.
  • Month end close activities, including journal entry preparation, approval of both internal and external team’s entries.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and approvals in Blackline
  • Quarterly Analysis and Reports
  • Support Internal and External audits.
  • Participate in Annual Physical Inventory
  • Supervise Staff Accountant
  • Special Projects

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.

The salary rate for this role is currently $68900-98200. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
