Job summary

SNI Financial is seeking a Manager of Accounting to join the technical accounting & financial reporting team. You will play a key role in the company’s financial reporting process and partner with senior leaders on complex accounting issues in a high-impact environment.

You’ll lead impairment tests, review fair value analyses, and ensure SEC/GAAP compliance while mentoring junior staff. The role offers hybrid flexibility with three days in the office and broad visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or public accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication capabilities.
• High-impact work in a sophisticated public company environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner with financial reporting, finance, corporate accounting, and leaders to account for complex transactions.
• Lead quarterly/annual impairment testing for intangible assets and credit loss testing.
• Review fair value analyses and updates.
• Review disclosures for SEC filings (10-K/10-Q).
• Ensure compliance with SEC & GAAP regulations.
• Research complex accounting matters and prepare/analyze memos.
• Prepare materials for audit committee meetings and senior leadership.
• Review new/amended contracts and advise on accounting implications.
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assist with implementation.
• Coach and mentor senior accountants; support development of the team.
• Collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment with high impact.

An established company is seeking a Manager of Accounting to join the technical accounting & financial reporting team. In this role, you’ll have considerable exposure to complex transactions, SEC reporting, impairment and fair value analyses, and technical accounting research. You’ll work closely with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Finance, and other business leaders while helping shape the accounting treatment for significant transactions.

• Lead the quarterly/annual impairment testing for intangible assets and credit loss testing
• Review fair value analyses and updates
• Work closely with the Financial Reporting team to review disclosures (10-K/10-Q filings)
• Ensure compliance with SEC & GAAP regulations
• Research complex accounting matters and prepare/ review technical accounting memos supporting conclusions
• Prepare materials for audit committee meetings and senior leadership
• Review new and amended contracts and advise on accounting implications
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assist with implementation
• Coach and mentor senior accountants, helping develop the next generation of accounting talent for the company.
