Base pay range

As the Accounting Manager, you will lead a team responsible for day-to-day operations on the accounting team. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to streamline processes and collaborate across departments to support overall financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger activities related to revenue and receivables, including monthly close processes, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards, and assist in financial analysis by customer, cost center, and service area.
• Lead and mentor a team, providing direction, support, and performance feedback to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting discrepancies and support continuous improvement in financial workflows.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Improve and maintain processes that support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze trends, investigate variances, and prepare meaningful insights for leadership.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to systems or procedures that improve financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a professional accounting or finance setting.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, with specific experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Experience using ERP systems; PeopleSoft is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
