Pareto Solutions Group is pleased to announce that a company with which we partner is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual contributor looking to step into a manager title (previous managerial experience is not required)!

About the Role

POSITION: Accounting Manager

SALARY: $85 to 95k

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller with preparation of financial statements and management reports on a timely basis.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting, ability to work cross functionally, and communicate at a high level with business and executive leaders.
• Work alongside the Controller to coordinate U.S. GAAP reporting and ensure the timely, accurate completion of financial reports for all required filings.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
• Stay abreast of financial reporting and regulatory developments which can impact the company and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Perform advanced problem solving and complex analysis.
• Assist with the coordination of the annual budget process.
• Organize and manage projects to completion.
• Establish, modify, document, and implement reporting processes and control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Full financial statement prep experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and previous exposure to payroll and ERP systems is preferred.
• Previous experience gained in the manufacturing industry and experience with fixed assets highly preferred.
