Job summary

The University of Colorado Denver Business School is seeking a Lecturer in Accounting to support the 2025-2026 academic year. Appointments are part-time and semester-by-semester, with teaching across undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, in various modalities including in-person, hybrid, remote, or online.

Qualified applicants hold a Master’s or terminal degree in a related field and have significant professional experience; preferred candidates may hold CPA/CMA and prior teaching

Qualifications

• Master's degree or terminal degree in a related field plus certifications/trainings as applicable.
• Significant professional/technical/managerial experience in the discipline with at least five years of duties.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and teaching requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Accounting discipline at undergraduate or graduate level across modalities (in person, hybrid, remote or online).
• Deliver tailored instruction, prepare rigorous lesson plans, assess student progress, and report policy offenses when applicable.
• Occasional evening/weekend duties may be required and duties align with curricular objectives.
