You’ll be our first in-house accounting hire, responsible for everything from month-end close and technical accounting to audits, tax, compliance, and financial systems. You’ll manage our external accounting partners while building the processes and infrastructure needed to support a rapidly growing business.
This role is intentionally hands‑on. We're looking for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and staying close to the work. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how accounting operates at Granola from the ground up, using thoughtful process design, technology, and automation to build a finance function that scales efficiently.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance, helping ensure our commercial processes scale alongside the company. Success in this role will come from combining deep accounting expertise with strong business judgment and an instinct for building scalable systems.

Our compensation philosophy is to hire the best people in the market and pay them accordingly with salary, variable, and equity.
$200k – $240k + equity and benefits!
