Job summary

Masters Gallery Foods in Town of Plymouth, WI, seeks an Accounting Assistant under the Corporate Controller to support the accounting department with a variety of tasks. You will assist AP/AR, update spreadsheets, help with closing duties, and file documents.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate Accounting students with office experience, strong math and analytical skills, excellent typing, and the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Accounting student with an emphasis in accounting.
• Office or administrative experience preferred.
• Maintains high level of confidentiality.
• Strong math and analytical skills, problem solving, and accuracy.
• Good typing skills and proficiency with MS Outlook/Office.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP and/or AR processes.
• Assist in updating accounting spreadsheets as needed.
• Assist in accounting projects as needed by department members.
• Assist in filing accounting documents.
• Assist accounting area with closing duties.
• Assist Accounting Assistants with daily duties as needed.
