Job summary

Gold Medal Bakery is offering an Accounting Intern position in Fall River, MA. You will support our Finance team with real-world accounting tasks while applying your classroom knowledge.

Expect to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours on Tuesdays. The ideal candidate is a junior or senior pursuing Accounting or Finance with a 3.0 GPA or higher, proficient in Microsoft Office, and detail‑oriented. Prior office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Junior or senior Accounting students preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and account reconciliation.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• General ledger journal entries.
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Vendor billings and customer charges.
• Finance projects and other administrative activities.
