Federated Insurance in Minnesota offers a full-time, in-person accounting internship for junior or senior accounting majors. You will prepare monthly financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, and participate in quarterly presentations with guidance from a mentor.

Pay is $24.50 per hour. The program includes furnished housing, mentoring, Wellness and fitness benefits, and subsidized country club and on-site gym memberships. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior Accounting major required.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.2.
• Strong computer knowledge and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Complete bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist with quarterly financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Support auditing processes and internal reporting.
• Present internship experience to accounting operations team at end of internship.
