Strawser Construction Inc. is seeking an Accounting Intern at our Columbus, Ohio office. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to day-to-day accounting tasks within the Barrett Industries family, with emphasis on learning, growth, and real-world experience.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Completed introductory accounting courses and understand basic accounting principles.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and observe operations.
• Support research, filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records.
• Prepare financial documents such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Gain hands-on experience with bookkeeping software.
• Handle confidential information with care and integrity.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze data and support goals.
• Take on additional projects to learn accounting and office operations.
• Learn about monthly close procedures and profit/loss analysis.
• Understand inter-department reporting to accounting and its importance.
• Explore job cost analysis and how reports are created.
