Lansing - W Saginaw Hwy in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Accounting Intern who will be exposed to basic accounting procedures including accounts payable/receivable, financial statement prep, and analysis. You will collaborate with rental branches and departments to support reporting and schedules.

The role requires a current Bachelor's student in Accounting or Finance, with proficiency in Excel/Word and a willingness to commit to a 40-hour week for 12 weeks, starting May 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be a college student enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Senior or rising senior graduating between Aug 2027 and May 2028.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to start May 2027.
• Must commit to a 40-hour work week and to 12 weeks.
• Must live within 30 miles of 11034 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32225 for Summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic accounting procedures and principles from A/P and A/R to financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Work closely with rental branches and other departments.
• Assist accounting managers with reports and other tasks.
• Involved with A/P and A/R functions; cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist in accounting schedules and filing.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.
