Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an entry-level accounting support role to assist the accounting team with basic journal entries, reconciliations, and data verification. You will work with the team on reports and documentation while learning DPR’s financial systems and controls.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or are currently enrolled, with internship or coursework in accounting preferred and a background check requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or current enrollment.
• Prior internship or coursework in accounting or business preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing basic journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation under supervision.
• Compiles and verifies financial data for inclusion in reports and internal analyses.
• Supports the maintenance of accounting records and files in compliance with DPR’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with team members to review invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions for accuracy.
• Assists with month-end close activities, including documentation and report preparation.
• Learns and applies accounting concepts, financial systems, and internal controls through guided participation in daily operations.
• Upholds confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information.
