Job summary

Myers and Stauffer is seeking an internship in accounting to support project work at our Owings Mills, MD office. The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.25 and active involvement in student organizations or work experience.

The intern will perform project tasks, develop an understanding of our services, respond to inquiries, and maintain professionalism.

Qualifications

• Intern must be working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
• Active participation in student organizations and work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency
• Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite

This position will be on site in our Owings Mills, MD office. The schedule requires 20+ hours/week and is flexible within a "traditional" Monday - Friday business week.
